The Centennial Campaign

Join 13,000+ donors who have given toward our $120 million goal

We are now in the final year of the Centennial Campaign — a $120 million comprehensive campaign that prepares Harding for the start of the next 100 years. Our founders aspired to create an educational experience that was distinctly Christian. They called our community to step up and serve the world — to be salt and light. Harding has been blessed for the past 100 years. Now is your time to help us craft the next chapter. Every donor matters. Every gift counts. We are calling on you to lift up Harding in your prayers, continue to send students our way, and to give cheerfully and generously to this Centennial Campaign.

CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION $11.7 MILLION

Supports our Christian culture and faith-building opportunities

This initiative through the Harding Fund provides a Christian environment for our students and funds need-based scholarships. The majority of our generous investors like you give to this fund because it impacts the broadest numbers of our students. Through your support, the legacy of our founders continues today as you make it possible for students to gain a high-quality, faith-filled education.

COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY $60.3 MILLION

Student Scholarships, Missionary scholarships, Freedom Fund

Kinley Schnell, senior elementary education major from McKinney, Texas, was awarded the newly created Carla J. Willmon Scholarship in September. She plans to teach abroad on a military base after graduation. “I am honored to be chosen and will always remember the grace that has been shown to me as I give grace to my students,” Schnell said.

EXPANDING ACADEMICS $18 MILLION

Expanded academic programs, Endowed academic chairs

Dr. Carl Williamson, serves as the Andy T. Richie Jr. Distinguished Chair for Discipleship and Church Planting, a position created in 2018 as part of this campaign. He is equipping students with tools and practical skills necessary to expand God’s kingdom in the United States and beyond. This includes student discipling groups, church plant coaching and building church connections across the globe.
